The use of an elastic wire, commonly known as a Bulgarian wire, is recognized as one of the most important devices in the therapeutic arsenal of cosmetic surgery.  Invented by a Bulgarian doctor, it does not require surgery to be attached and does not require hospitalization.  It can be applied in the doctor’s office and patients who have used the device are generally happy with the results.

As opposed to the Russian wire which does not have an anchor (setting) and depends on the action of muscle fiber which varies from patient to patient, besides frequent extrusions and “spike points,” the Bulgarian wire is suspended with an anchor (setting) attached either to itself or at some point on the mastoid (the bone behind the ear), when attached at the neck. Come in for a consultation and we will evaluate without any commitment on your part.
